(ODON) - A man is facing charges after a woman reported waking up and finding him at the foot of her bed.
Around 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning the Daviess County Sheriff's Department received a call from a residence on CR 1225 E near Odon.
The woman reported that she woke up to find a unknown male standing at the foot of her bed. The caller said the man said he did not know where he was or how he got there. The caller said the man made a phone call to someone from her house phone, left the residence, and began walking toward Odon.
Later the the female called back and reported a wrecked van in a ditch about a mile from her home.
The Daviess County Sheriff's Department determined the van was one reported stolen earlier. The van was also connected to an earlier hit-and-run accident in Odon.
Daviess County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 26-year-old Chaz Lengacher, of Washington, in connection with the incidents. He was incarcerated in the Daviess County Security Center.
