(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Opera House is kicking off the spring season with The Tides, Saturday, April 29th at 8p.m.
This group is a fun, creative mix of versatile musicianship, performing a variety of songs, from the 50's to modern day. They will entertain you with a blending of unusual instruments, along with great vocals, and creative arrangements of songs you will know, making The Tides a little something special, and different from the rest. The trio consists of Michael Beck (Drums, Percussion and Vocals), Dane Dye (Bass and Vocals) and Seth Jenkins (Keyboards, Guitar and Vocals).

The Opera House is located at the corner of 7th & Brook Streets in Mitchell, Indiana.

Bruce Borders (ex-Mayor of Jasonville, IN) returns with his incredible Elvis impersonation that rocked the David Letterman Show! June 23rd 2012, 8pm - The Lloyd Wood Show
The Lloyd Wood Show is one of country's best kept secrets! Lloyd dishes up a heapin' helpin' of Country, Country Rock, Bluegrass, Oldies, and 100+ impersonations. Some say it is better than being in Nashville or Branson!

July 21st 2012, 8pm - The Nostalgia Band
The Nostalgia Band is lead by band director Frank Battaglia. Playing all the hits from the 30's and 40's, this approximately 20 piece big band will fill the Opera House with an awesome musical performance. Get your tickets early for this popular big band sound.

August 18th 2012, 8pm - Grandview Junction
Grandview Junction is an awesome Bluegrass, Gospel and Country Band coming to the Opera House. They will bring Tim and Susan Key. Their trademark of 3 and 4 part harmony, along with a wide range of musical instruments has allowed the Band to develop a wide repertoire. Add years of experience and you have a great show!
