Leaders Retiring From North Lawrence Schools

(BEDFORD) - The North Lawrence schools are losing more leaders to retirement.

The school board Thursday formally accepted eight retirements, including that of Robert Stipp, principal at Springville Elementary School.

Stipp becomes the second NL principal in two months to announce his retirement. Last month the board accepted the retirement of Stephen Ray, principal at Parkview Primary School.

Other retirements included:

* Judy Bailey, interim food service director.

* Loretta Bailey, social studies instructor and Beta Club sponsor at Shawswick Middle School.

* Denise Buckingham, math teacher and Math Club sponsor at Bedford Middle School.

* Sally Kimbley, third-grade teacher at Shawswick Elementary School.

* Ann Pierce, second-grade teacher at Fayetteville Elementary School.

* Martha Ritter, traveling music teacher.

* Terry Smith, social studies teacher at Shawswick Middle School.
