(ODON) - INDOT has announced that both lanes of State Road 58 east of Odon will be closed for repairs beginning April 23.
Cher Elliott, spokesperson for INDOT's Vincennes District Office, says that maintenance crews will be replacing a drainage pipe under the roadway about one mile west of U.S. 231.
Elliott says the repair work will have the road closed starting at 8:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, and lasting through Friday, April 27, depending on the weather.
The official detour includes State Road 57, U.S. 50, and U.S. 231. While State Road 58 is closed, local residents will be able to use the highway up to the point of closure.
