Hoosier Uplands Begins Head Start Registration

(UNDATED) - Hoosier Uplands Head Start is accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school years for the Bedford, Loogootee, Mitchell, Paoli and Salem Centers.

To be eligible children must turn 3 or 4 years of age by August 1.

The family must also meet the federal income guidelines.

Full-day classes will be available at the Bedford, Mitchell and Loogootee centers to accommodate parents who are working or enrolled in college or GED classes.

Head State is a comprehensive school of readiness program that offers nutritious meals and snacks, educational opportunities and assistance with securing medical, dental and vision services and limited transportation to and from the Head Start centers.

All Head Start services are provided at no cost to those who qualify, although families are asked to volunteer each month.
