Fatal Bloomington Fire Ruled Accidental

Last updated on Tuesday, April 17, 2012

(BLOOMINGTON) - Friday’s early-morning mobile home fire that left 53-year-old Rosie Golden dead was accidental in nature, according to Bloomington Fire Department Investigator Tim Clapp.

Clapp say the fire started in the kitchen of the older mobile home, but the exact cause is not known. He did say no one was cooking when the fire started.

Four people, including two children, escaped the burning mobile home off West Allen Street without injuries. Golden's body was found just inside the front door.
