(SWITZ CITY) - 44-year-old Andrew Cornell, of Elnora, was killed after he crashed his vehicle on State Rd. 54, just east of the Green Co. 4-H Fairgrounds.
According to a Greene County Deputy Jeremy Inman, Cornell was driving a 2003 Mercury Mountaineer east on State Road 54 when for some unknown reason he lost control of the vehicle and hit a guardrail.
Inman says Cornell was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
He was taken to Greene County Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Assisting at the scene were the Indiana State Police, Bloomfield Police, Worthington Police, Switz City Fire Department and Greene Co. EMS.
