Bloomington Woman Sexually Assulted At Hotel

(BLOOMINGTON) - According to Bloomington Lt. Faron Lake a Bloomington woman reported being sexually assaulted at the Hampton Inn, 2100 N. Walnut St., early Saturday morning.

Hotel security reported the sexual battery incident at about 5 a.m. after the victim ran out of a room yelling.

Lake said the woman had been with friends at Brothers Bar and Grill, where they met three men who brought the victim and her friends to the Hampton Inn to "hang out." Lake said. the woman reportedly did not remember going to the hotel.

At some point, the woman went into a different hotel room, where she came into contact with two men who were described as in their mid-30s, dark-skinned, thin and about 6-feet tall.

They escorted her to another room, where the three people had a conversation. Lake said, the woman reported that the men sexually assaulted her while she was in the room with them.

Lake said the incident is still under investigation and anyone with information should call police.
