(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are trying to determine whether an aggravated battery called in was actually an attack or simply an accident.
Bloomington Police Lt. Bill Parker says a caller told police a man had been attacked with a piece of steel or iron pipe Saturday on the B-Line Trail near South Rogers Street.
However, the alleged victim and a witness told police the man had experienced a seizure. The man was transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Parker says the man had injuries that would corroborate either story. The case is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Police.
