Last updated on Friday, April 13, 2012

(BLOOMINGTON) - Parents called Bloomington police Monday after their 7-year-old daughter described to them what might have been sexual battery, according to Bloomington Police Department Lt. Bill Parker.

An 11-year-old male neighbor allegedly talked the girl into lowering her pants for him, the parents told police.

Parker said the boy also lowered his pants in front of the girl. Parkers said the parents also reported possible fondling by the 11-year-old.

Parker said police are currently investigating the claims.
