The project features widen travel lanes and shoulders, intersection improvements, sidewalks, and the replacement of Meadowbrook Creek Bridge.

Once the construction phase of the project begins, installation of two temporary traffic signals will be placed along S.R. 46 for bridge deck resurfacing on the Fish Creek and Rattlesnake Creek Bridges. The overall completion date for the project is scheduled for November 2013.

"This project represents a successful collaboration between state and local officials working together to achieve these needed improvements," said Seymour District Deputy Commissioner Kathy Eaton-McKalip.
