Last updated on Monday, March 12, 2012

(NASHVILLE) - Indiana Conservations Officers are investigating an off road vehicle accident that injured a rural Nashville man.

20-year-old Armand Biagas was a passenger on a 2009 Suzuki 750 four wheeler being operated by a 6 year old boy on Timber Crest Road north of Nashville.

The four wheeler was traveling at a fairly high rate of speed when it spun in the gravel and flipped at least one time.

The boy was not injured, but Biagas received an injury to his head and was reported to have been knocked unconscious.

Biagas was treated at the scene by the Columbus Regional Hospital Ambulance and then was transported to the hospital by a family member. He was treated and released at the hospital.

Indiana Conservation Officer Jeff Atwood is investigating the accident and will file a report with the Brown Co. Prosecutor's Office to review reference any charges that might be filed from the incident.

The Brown Co. Sheriff's Dept. also assisted at the scene.
