(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell woman was injured, Tuesday afternoon, after being in an accident at the intersection of 9th and Tulip streets in Mitchell.
According to Lawrence County Police reports 71-year-old Rita Clampitt was traveling south on Tulip Street, when a 2006 Dodge SUV, driven by 45-year-old Scott Mundy, pulled into the path of Clampitt's 1997 Buick.
Clampitt complained of chest pain. Mundy was not injured.
