Mitchell Man Arrested For Theft Of Pocket Knives

(MITCHELL) - 21-year-old Brandon Edwards of Mitchell was arrested after police alleged the stole a collection of five pocket knives from his uncle's home in Mitchell.

Mitchell Police Department Chief Mike Hardman says the department received a call about 6:30 a.m. Thursday from Edwards' uncle, who lives on Warrant Street, reporting the theft of the knives, valued at $300. Police believe Edwards entered his uncles home through a window.

Police found Edwards at his mother's house on Dale Street and arrested him. During the arrests police say they discovered Edwards with a syringe, a change purse belonging to his mother, they did not find the knives.
