(JOHNSON COUNTY) - A man was killed when his SUV struck a light pole in Johnson County late Thursday.
A woman called 911 just after 11 p.m. to report her car was nearly struck by a possibly intoxicated driver on State Road 37.
As she was on the phone, with police when she was the SUV crashed at Fairview Road.
When officers arrived, they found the SUV had hit a pole and found the driver partially ejected from the vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He had not been identified early Friday.
