Last updated on Monday, March 19, 2012

(BROWNSTOWN) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions on U.S. 50 through Brownstown in Jackson County.

Dave O'Mara Construction will be conducting asphalt resurface work beginning on Monday, April 2. The project length is two miles on US 50, from the bridge over CSX Railroad to North Street.

Crews are scheduled to work Monday thru Thursday, 10 hours a day. However, the schedule is subject to change if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.

Flagging crews will restrict traffic lanes throughout the operation. The project will also include upgrades to sidewalk curb ramps. The estimated completion date is June 29, 2012.
