Indiana State Police Collecting Illegal Spice And Bath Salts

(UNDATED) - Retailers and private individuals in possession of the now illegal spice and bath salts can drop off the substances at any Indiana State Police Post.

The collection will run until March 25.

ISP says the drop off provides a safe way to dispose of the substances and prevents them from getting into the wrong hands if simply thrown away.

Gov. Mitch Daniels signed a tougher bill Thursday making an variations of spice or bath salts illegal to sell, possess or transport in Indiana.
