Last updated on Friday, March 23, 2012

(TRAFALGAR) - A Johnson County judge issued a gag order to prevent the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Trafalgar Police from discussing the murder case of a 3-year old Trafalgar boy.

Prosecutor Bradley Cooper requested the gag order on which police can only speak about what's in public records such as charging documents.

Amanda Smith is accused of drowning her child earlier this month and then swinging an axe at police.
