Fund Set Up To Help Oolitic Family That Lost Everything In Fire

Last updated on Monday, March 19, 2012

(BEDFORD) - A fund has been set up at Hoosier Hills Credit Union to take donations to help the Oolitic residents who lost their home to a fire Wednesday evening.

Tyler Russell, Miranda Poole and an 11-month-old boy had been living in the house. They were able to escape the fire when a man saw the smoke, went to the door and told them their home was on fire.

Russell's father, Gene Russell, said the fund has been set up at HHCU under the name of the Russell Family Fire Recovery Fund.
