(MARTINSVILLE) - A former Martinsville head basketball coach charged with indecent exposure appeared in court Friday.

Tim Wolf had nothing to say about the charges against him, charges stemming from police finding him in Eagle Creek Park with a former student with his pants unzipped. These charges have sparked outrage throughout the Martinsville community.

"You left that man, you left him around our children. I can't accept that," said one concerned parent.

Wolf spent two decades on the sidelines and as a teacher. School officials recently revealed they had heard rumors of the relationship with the teen, who at the time was still a student at the high school.

"It was brought to our attention for the first time on May 11 of 2011. We immediately notified child protective services," said Ron Furniss, School Board Chair.

Despite rumors, there was no formal investigation into Wolf until these charges. Something parents said that just isn't okay.

"We deserve better. Our children mean more to us than you and your 300 wins," said the concerned parent.

Wolf has officially resigned from the school. The school board accepted his resignation at their last meeting.
