(ORLEANS) - The Orleans Wesleyan Church announces a new ministry. In response to some of the needs in our community the local church is going to have a food outreach program called “The Family Table”.
The church invites anyone who would like to join them on Thursday evenings for dinner and fellowship at the Orleans Wesleyan Fellowship hall.
The meal will be served from 5:30 p.m. till 6:30 p.m. or as needed. The church's pastor Mike Hester and his congregation are hoping this may be one step in helping those who are struggling in hard times.
Hester says it is the churches responsibility to be there when needed and help. He says God has directed this endeavor and they are praying that it will be a success.
