(BEDFORD) - Clayton Orender, a senior, was named Mr. BNL Friday night at the PAC.
"Being a senior, I just really wanted to have fun with it," said Orender, who represented the cross country team. "I had so much fun with these guys."
The contest is a fundraiser for BNL Renaissance, which is a reward and incentive program to encourage good attendance and academics. Sixteen boys participated. They were judged on fitness, costume, talent, formal wear/interview and overall impression.
"Mr. BNL is about having an outgoing personality, and that's what I am and that's what BNL is," he said. "I hope I live up to it."
