(BLOOMINGTON) - School officials at Bloomington High School North called police Tuesday because of rumors that a 15-year-old student was showing a pornographic video at the school.

Bloomington Police Sgt. Steve Kellams says allegedly the video showed two other teenaged students having intercourse.

Police confiscated the student's phone that he was using to show the video on.

Kellams says once they obtain a subpoena they will view the video. At this time, police don't know if a crime was committed and Kellams says Detective Scott Reynolds has been assigned the case.

"He will need to watch and analyze the evidence before we decide the next step" Kellams says.

However, Kellams says, depending on the ages of the students, allegedly in the video, the charges could vary.

The charge could be as serious as manufacturing child pornography, a federal offense.
