(BEDFORD) - The Bedford North Lawrence Beta Club took up a collection for Ally Pemberton at halftime of BNL’s final home basketball game on Friday night.
Fans donated more than $2,000 to help the Pemberton family with expenses related to Ally's medical care.
Ally, a student at Stalker Elementary School, suffers from a congenital heart defect and needs a heart transplant. She is currently third on the transplant list. Her parents are Paul and Andrea (Kopp) Pemberton.
The Beta Club and the Pemberton family would like to say "thank you" to everyone for their support of Ally.
