(BLOOMINGTON) - 41-year-old Tina Frye, of Bloomington, was arrested after Sgt. Steve Kellams says she allegedly attempted to strangle her husband.
Frye told police they were arguing about the behavior of their 14-year-old son. Police say the man had red marks around his neck.
Police say Frye had scratches on her arm, where the husband attempted to defend himself.
Kellams says the argument happened in the presence of a family friend and the friend's 3-year-old son.
Frye was charged with felony counts of domestic battery in the presence of a minor and strangulation.
