Autopsy Confirms No Foul Play Involved In Man's Death

Last updated on Wednesday, March 21, 2012

(LYONS) - Autopsy results released this morning confirm that the death of a 41-year-old Todd Bargman, of North Bend, Ohio did not involve foul play.

Indiana State Police were investigating the death, after Bargman's body was found in a small trailer at Shady Acres Campground, located west of Lyons.

Greene County Coroner Sherry Wilson says an autopsy conducted this morning by forensic pathologist Dr. Roland Kohr confirmed Bargman died from a single gunshot wound to the head.

Wilson says toxicology tests will be done, but she doesn't expect those results to differ from the pathologist's autopsy finding.

Bargman, was employed at the Edwardsport Coal Gasification Plant construction site and had lived at the campground for about two years.

Neighbors alerted police after Bargman didn't answer his cell phone and they were concerned because they had not seen him.
