Woman Injured After Car Crashes Into Cow

(KENRAY) - A Bedford woman was injured after she crashed her car into a cow.

According to Lawrence County Police, 39-year-old Nancy Slinkard was traveling west on East Kenray Lake Road near Jay Lane, when a cow walked into the roadway.

Slinkard was unable to avoid hitting the cow with her 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Slinkard complained of pain after the incident.

The cow, who is owned by Kenny Turpin, got up and walked away. Turpin was still looking for the cow after the officer left the scene.
