(KENRAY) - A Bedford woman was injured after she crashed her car into a cow.

According to Lawrence County Police, 39-year-old Nancy Slinkard was traveling west on East Kenray Lake Road near Jay Lane, when a cow walked into the roadway.

Slinkard was unable to avoid hitting the cow with her 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix.
