Two Orange County Residents Arrested On Meth Charges

(ENGLISH) - Two people were arrested on methamphetamine-related charges Tuesday afternoon in rural Orange County, according to Indiana State Police.

28-year-old Jimmy Leonard and 23-year-old Alyssa E. Alderson-Like were arrested after police found meth, items used to deal the drug, marijuana, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia, ISP reported.

Each was charged with dealing and possessing methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of precursors with intent to manufacture and possession of paraphernalia.

Indiana State Police Trooper Shane Staggs had received information that drug activity was taking place at the residence at the intersection of County Road 350 West and 1050 South English, which is in Orange County.

Staggs got a search warrant, and police found the items at about 11:30 p.m. during the search.
