Throop Students Learn About Bike Safety

Last updated on Thursday, February 9, 2012

(PAOLI) - IU Health Educator Deana Davis, RN spoke to all the second grade classes at Throop Elementary about bike safety and each student was fitted for a free bike helmet.

Bike helmets should be worn by anyone riding a bike and should fit level, snug, and set 2 fingers width above the eyebrows.

Preventing unintentional injuries like bike injuries is one of IU Health Paoli Hospital's outreach priorities.
