(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Plan Commission approved a proposed subdivision on Quail Ridge Drive.
Gary Ray, representing Built Rite Construction, exhibited detailed maps and explained to members of the commission his plan to build a subdivision of single family dwellings with three bedrooms and two baths on Quail Ridge Drive, between A and B streets behind Jiffy Treet.
The area is zoned R3, a Medium Density Residential District.
Ray plans to undertake the project in phases and expects the houses to range from 1,300-1,600 square feet. The design includes sidewalks and infrastructure for water, sewer and stormwater. Ray explained three street lights would be in place for the first phase of the project and two more would be added at the outset of the second phase.
