Spierer Family Increases Reward To $250,000

Last updated on Saturday, February 25, 2012

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Bloomington Police Department says it’s aware that the family of Lauren Spierer is offering a reward for information that leads to her return.

Officials says they hope it leads to holding accountable anyone who may be responsible for her disappearance. Police say the department continues to actively investigate the case.

Spierer's parents have boosted the reward for information that will help them find Lauren to $250,000. A posting to findlauren.com says the action is the result of "an extremely generous donation."

Rob and Charlene Spierer say they "remain dedicated to finding our daughter." Lauren Spierer disappeared in June of last year.
