(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after he allegedly hit his mother inside her home.
Mitchell police were called to a home at 10 a.m. Friday, in the block of West Brook Street after a woman reported her son was drunk and had battered her.
At 10:01 a.m. police received a second call saying the man was at the home, knocking on the door, but the homeowner was refusing to answer.
At 10:08 a.m. police arrested 40-year-old Jeremy Clevenger on charges of public intoxication and battery.
