(JASONVILLE) - An explosion Saturday night in Clay County left two men injured. The cause of the explosion was a suspected meth lab.

Lewis Township Volunteer Fire Department Chief Bryan Husband says his department responded to the blaze on County Road 500 West, about two miles north of Jasonville around 9 p.m.

Husband says the two men were burned when the meth lab exploded. An unidentified male was sent to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis via Air Evac. Husband says the other man was taken to Union Hospital in Terre Haute by means other than ambulance. Police are not saying how bad the men's injuries are.

Firefighters from Lewis and Wright townships and Jasonville and Clay City fire departments were at the home until 2:30 a.m. putting out the blaze.
