(LINTON) - Linton police arrested 26-year-old Richard Ausman, of Worthington, after police say he became unruly and resisted arrest. (GC DAILY WORLD)

Police were called on Sunday at 1:06 a.m. to the corner of South East 7th and C streets in Linton after a report of an accident.

When police arrived they found Ausman, who claims a man named Shadow was driving the vehicle. The car was impounded until the owner contacts police.

While police were talking to Ausman they determined he had been drinking and that is when they arrested him for public intoxication. Then police say he became unruly and combative with officers.
