(BROWNSTOWN) - Jackson County 4-H Beef ID Day will take place Saturday.
All 4-H beef and dairy beef steers and beef commercial heifers must be brought to the fairgrounds to be permanently identified and weighed for the performance contest.
Beef steers and commercial heifers will be tagged and weighed from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., and dairy beef steers will be tagged and weighed from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The ID committee will take a lunch break from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and no tagging will be done.
