(LINTON) - The Linton City Fire Department received donations of two set of cordless power tools which will be used during extrication of accident victims.

Graber Post, located in Montgomery, donated the tools with a value of more than $900.

The tool sets include specially designed drills, hammers, chisels and other gear designed to cut through metal. The sets are cordless and rechargeable.

The department has the hydraulic extractors, but these were needed to speed the rescue process and in situations when the larger tools could not be used.
