(INDIANAPOLIS) - Do317.com, Rolling Stone Magazine, and Volkswagen Group of America announced that Bloomington’s The Main Squeeze is the Grand Prize winning band in the Do317 Super Band Contest.
Over the course of the last 7 days, over 200 Indiana bands were competing for the chance to perform at the Rolling Stone Volkswagen Rock & Roll Fan Tailgate by lobbying for online votes through local website Do317.com.
The three highest online vote getters included The Main Squeeze, Valparaiso's Crawpuppies, and Lawrenceburg's Dazzy Vanse. Rolling Stone reviewed the three finalists and chose The Main Squeeze as the winning band.
