(BLOOMFIELD) - Helen Lindsey of Bloomfield won big in the Powerball with Power Play. (GC DAILY WORLD)
Lindsey won $40,000 and plans to use her winnings to go see her son graduate basic training from the United States Marine Corps in San Diego.
She claimed her winnings in Indianapolis on Feb. 15th.
Adding Power Play to her Powerball ticket increased what would have been a $10,000 prize to a $40,000 prize in the Feb. 8th drawing.
She purchased the winning ticket at Petro Plus on West Main Street in Bloomfield. The winning numbers were 17-28-38-39-51 Powerball 33. Lindsey matched four of the first five numbers.
