(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana State Police Meth Task Force busted another methamphetamine lab Thursday afternoon, the third this past week in Bloomington.
Troopers arrested 50-year-old Brian Patton and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Brittany Lake, when they served a search warrant at their shared house in the 2500 block of South Madison Street.
It is the same house where officers seized a lab last March.
According to an Indiana State Police report, troopers found an active meth lab, as well as meth, chemicals used to make the drug and items used to ingest the drug.
Patton faces felony charges of manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine, possessing and purchasing drug precursors with intent to manufacture, and maintaining a common nuisance.
Lake faces charges of maintaining a common nuisance and purchasing drug precursors. She also was arrested on warrants charging her with possession of methamphetamine and conversion.
Thursday's bust was the third this week in Bloomington, but state police say the cases are not related.
The Meth Task Force arrested two men Monday at a house on South Leonard Springs Road. On Wednesday, they arrested a woman and two men after finding an active meth lab in the same house as her 1-year-old child on Indian Creek Drive.
