Woman Injured After Being Pinned Between Vehicles

Last updated on Friday, January 20, 2012

(MITCHELL) - A woman was injured after she was pinned between two vehicles at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Church on Jehovah’s Witnesses Drive in Mitchell.

According to Mitchell Police Chief Mike Hardman, 69-year-old Beverly Sellers was in her 2003 Honda Odyssey and was getting ready to take some friends to lunch when she dropped something and was distracted, causing her to drive her car into Micheal Talcott's 1996 Toyota Camry. The impact caused that car to push into a church vehicle and trapped 63-year-old Linda King between the two vehicles.

When Chief Hardman arrived on the scene, the vehicle had been moved in an attempt to free King.

King was flown by helicopter to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment. No condition was available this morning.
