Truck Driver Suffers Minor Injuries When Semi Overturns

(GREENE COUNTY) - A Plainville truck driver escaped injury late Monday night when his tractor trailer overturned on State Road 45, south of State Road 54 in eastern Greene County.

According to Greene County Sheriff's Department reports, 38-year-old Keith A. Lengacher was traveling north on State Road 45 in a 2007 Peterbilt tractor trailer when the truck's passenger side tire left the east edge of the roadway causing the semi to overturn on the passenger side. The truck traveled about 300 feet before hitting a tree.

Lengacher was treated at the scene by emergency personnel.

Assisting at the scene was personnel from the Center Township Fire Department, Greene County Ambulance Service and Indiana State Police Trooper Richard Klun.
