(BLOOMFIELD) - 26-year-old Michael Brault, of Spencer, is facing criminal charges after he allegedly inappropriately touched a 15-year-old Linton girl.
Brault is charged with sexual misconduct with a minor. Police began investigating the case after the mother of the girl filed a complaint on Dec. 13th.
According to authorities, the girl told police that Brault touched her while the two were lying on a couch at her mother's home in Linton. The girl said her head was on one end of the couch and Brault's head was on the opposite end. She then fell asleep and she woke when Brault began touching her under her clothes with his hands. The girl then tried to pull away from Brault.
