Police Find Pills During Search of Bedford Home

(BEDFORD) - Police armed with a search warrant Thursday night found methadone at a Bedford home.

29-year-old Joan C. Evans and 30-year-old James Wright, who lived at the home, were arrested. Evans was charged with maintaining a common nuisance and Wright was charged with maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.

Lawernce County Police Officer Andrew Phillips and his police dog, Axle, searched the home and found several other pills that police have not yet identified.
