Parkview Intermediate Evacuated After Bomb Threat

(BEDFORD) - Parkview Intermediate School was evacuated this morning after they received a bomb threat.

Bedford Police Major Kevin Jones said that school officials received a letter in the mail stating there was a bomb located on school property.

The school was evacuated at 10:39 a.m. while police, Bedford firefighters and Capt. Jeremy Bridges and his K-9 Ciro searched the building.

No bomb was found and classes resumed at the school.

The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bedford Police Department.
