Orleans Library Installs New Computers For Children

(ORLEANS) - The Orleans Public Library children’s department is celebrating the installation of three new children’s computers loaded with educational software for early learning and elementary school students.

The computers with 19-inch touch screens were purchased with grant money from Orange County Rural Electric Operation Roundup, and the software packages with funds from the Orleans Community and Teagarden Family grants.

The elementary package (K-6) includes: "I Spy School Days," "The Magic School Bus Lands on Mars," "High Achiever Brain Bogglers," "The Oregon Trail," "I Love Math" and several JumpStart programs.
