(MITCHELL) - Those representing the Mitchell High School soccer team were pleased with their first year.
Scott Petty said there were 25 athletes who participated, 10 were seniors and 15 will be eligible to return to the team in the fall. He also added there is at least 15 other students interested in joining the team.
The Mitchell School Board approved a two-year trial period for the JV soccer program.
The team finished with a 6-3 record.
