Melton Public Library Offers Financial Peace University Free

(FRENCH LICK) - Melton Public Library has received a grant from the Orange County REMC Operation Round-up to offer Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University.

The grant also will allow 20 local families to attend the classes free of charge.

Orientation will be at 7 p.m. on Jan. 26. The 13-week video program meet Thursday evenings beginning Feb. 2.

Ramsey hosts a nationally syndicated radio program and is a nationally known financial adviser and author.

"This Financial Peace University program has the potential to change lives in the community for the better," said Melton Public Library Adult Program Director Ralph Purkhiser.

A sign-up sheet is available at the library's main desk. The first 20 families who sign up will receive the free class materials. Others may be put on a waiting list.
