Brownstown Fifth Graders Toot Horns

(BROWNSTOWN) - Fifth grade students at Brownstown Elementary School participated in a middle school band recruitment sessions.

Students played a few notes on instruments provided by Paige's Music in Indianapolis. Richard Branaman, band director at Brownstown Central Middle and High School, was on hand to help students interested in band.

Fifth graders were able to choose three instruments they liked should they decide to join band in middle school.

Fifth graders will listen to the sixth grade choir at a recruitment concert, Friday, Feb. 10, to showcase what the sixth graders have learned in a year's time.
