(BEDFORD) - When police went to arrest a Bedford man on a warrant, they discovered him smoking marijuana and now he faces additional charges.
Police went to Root's Motel on Mitchell Road to arrest Travis Chastain.
According to Oolitic Town Deputy Marshal Bill Allen, police found marijuana and syringes. 27-year-old Chastain was arrested Friday night on a warrant for failure to appear in court and new charges of possession of marijuana and reckless possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
